Set in buzzing Marylebone, Home Grown is an exquisite private member’s club and one of our favourite places to visit! It’s an environment for people to really connect and build their network. They also provide luxury accommodation at affordable prices, and pride themselves on being able to provide whatever their members may need - however nuanced.
Every year, International Women’s Day gives us the perfect excuse to do what we love most – come together, raise a glass, and celebrate being women. The wins, the mess, the growth, the friendships, the confidence we’ve built (and the bits we’re still working on).
This year, we’re doing something new and partnering with the UK’s No1 skincare brand*, No7.
Introducing Sip & Script – a relaxed, feel-good evening inspired by the idea of our Forgotten areas – the passions, hobbies, relationships, and parts of ourselves that sometimes slip to the bottom of the list as life gets busy.
It’s social, reflective (but not deep-and-meaningful in a scary way), and very much about celebrating where you are – and where you might want to go next – in great company, with a glass of wine in hand.

You’ll be welcomed into a laid-back, social-style evening with two drink tokens included, so you can enjoy a glass of wine (or the drink of your choice) while chatting and mingling.
Throughout the evening, you’ll be invited to take part in our Write to Your Future Self moment. There will be a dedicated writing station where you can write a short letter to yourself, dated exactly one year from the day.
The idea?
To gently reflect on the forgotten areas you’d love to reconnect with over the next year – maybe a creative hobby, a friendship, more time for yourself, or simply how you want life to feel. No pressure, no rules – just your words and your intentions.
We’ll collect the letters and post them back to you in a year’s time – a little surprise from past-you, sparked by a really lovely night out.
And because we love a thoughtful touch, every guest will also receive a beautiful No7-branded goodie bag, filled with lovely products and tucked into a chic tote – very much part of the fun and a gorgeous takeaway from the evening.
Expect easy conversations, laughter, a touch of reflection, and that unmistakable Merit Club feeling of connection.

We’re delighted to be partnering with No7 for this International Women’s Day celebration. Championing women at every stage and encouraging confidence, self-belief, and possibility.
Alongside this mission, No7 is launching a new product line supported by their Forgotten Areas campaign, which shines a light on the parts of ourselves that can quietly slip down the priority list as life gets busy.
This message aligns beautifully with this year’s event theme, making No7 the perfect partner to help bring the evening to life – from the shared moments of reflection to the generous No7 goodie bags you’ll take home as a reminder to keep prioritising yourself.
