A Sunday morning walk through maritime Greenwich, one of the most beautiful corners of London. We start by the river and the Cutty Sark, wander past the Old Royal Naval College and head up through Greenwich Park to the Royal Observatory.

Walking side by side is one of the easiest ways to get chatting, and the views over the river and the city from the top of the park are worth every step. Autumn is a lovely time to be there, with the trees turning and crisp air for the climb.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Meet at 2pm outside Cutty Sark DLR station. We will allow 15 minutes for everyone to arrive before setting off along the river and up through Greenwich Park, finishing around 4pm. Wear comfortable shoes, as the walk up to the Observatory is steep in places. The walk is free; any coffee or lunch along the way is paid for individually.

Please note, your host will not be able to wait for latecomers, so do arrive on time.
