Second Book Club

We’re excited to launch our Second Merit Club Book Club, created simply because so many of you asked for another space to join in – not to replace or compete with our wonderful original club run by Denise. This new event will explore different reads, giving you the chance to enjoy both if you’d like: think romance, fiction, and books that spark reflection and conversation.

Held monthly at a cosy venue, this Sunday afternoon book club offers a calm, welcoming space to unwind, chat, and connect over ideas, stories, and shared experiences. Whether you’re already a dedicated reader or simply curious about exploring books that help you grow, you’ll find a thoughtful and inviting community waiting for you.

Voting for the book will soon take place in the Book Club Circle! So make sure you check it and even add your suggestions!

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll meet once a month on Sundays at 3pm, settling in for an easygoing hour or two of discussion with just a coffee if you wish — no minimum spend or formal structure. Each session will be gently hosted by one of our rotating member hosts, who will bring a few light prompts to guide the conversation.

Expect a relaxed, open environment where you can share your thoughts, hear different perspectives, or simply sit back and listen. Together, we’ll explore uplifting, insightful reads while building connections with women who enjoy thoughtful, meaningful conversation.

A cosy, inspiring way to ease into your Sunday — and a beautiful complement to our original book club.
