Claudia is our Merit Club’s event host and a long-term supporter. Born in Italy, she moved to London in 1995 and understands what it's like to arrive in a new city. She is dedicated to women's empowerment and well-being, with keen interests in personal growth, mindful living, meditation and yoga, as well as food and design. She looks forward to welcoming you with her warm and grounded presence.

Hokusai at Dulwich Picture Gallery

Dulwich Picture Gallery is showing Hokusai, the Japanese artist behind The Great Wave, one of the most recognisable images in the world.

The exhibition brings together his prints, paintings and drawings, from the famous views of Mount Fuji to the smaller, stranger studies of everyday life that show just how playful he was. Dulwich itself is a lovely reason to go, a village in the middle of London with a gallery, a park and a cafe worth staying at.

If you love art and a Saturday that takes you somewhere slightly different, this one is for you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We will meet at 12:15pm in the entrance hall of Dulwich Picture Gallery, Gallery Road, London SE21 7AD, and go into the exhibition together at 12:30pm.

Afterwards we will head to The Dulwich Clock Cafe in the park beside the gallery for lunch, subject to space on the day, and then walk back through Dulwich Village together for anyone who would like to.

Your ticket covers your exhibition entry. Everyone covers the cost of their own food and drinks.

Please note, your host will not be able to wait for latecomers, so do arrive on time.
