Harnessing Your Hormones Talk and Dinner
Join us for a relaxed and insightful evening as we gather for dinner with the wonderful Emily Allen, a specialist in female health. Over a delicious meal, Emily will guide us through the fascinating world of hormone health, sharing valuable insights on how our hormones impact everything from energy levels to mood and overall well-being. This isn’t just a talk—it’s a conversation, where you’ll have the chance to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in a meaningful discussion. Whether you’re curious about balancing hormones, improving your health, or simply want to enjoy an evening of great food and thoughtful conversation, this is the perfect setting to connect, learn, and unwind.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Emily Allen – Founder of EmPower Health
Emily is the founder of EmPower Health, a passionate advocate for female health and fitness, and a certified Fitness Instructor. With a First-Class degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bath, specialising in human physiology and disease, Emily combines her deep scientific knowledge with her love for movement. After an unexpected ACL injury reshaped her journey, she turned to solo training—mastering weightlifting, HIIT, cycling, and yoga. Her corporate experience in Health Economics further fuelled her mission to bridge the gap in understanding women’s physiology. EmPower Health was born from her drive to empower women to work with, not against, their bodies. A pivotal moment in a gym, where she overheard a trainer dismissing the impact of the menstrual cycle on performance, solidified her determination to educate, inspire, and create change in the way we approach female health.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will meet for dinner and our discussion at 7:00 p.m., creating a warm and relaxed space to connect. As we enjoy our meal, Emily will guide us through the topic of hormone health and how the biology of our hormones translates into our day-to-day behaviours. From how hormones influence the neurotransmitters in our brains, to how they may impact our home-, work- and sporting-lives. Emily will educate you, facilitate discussions, and answer all of your questions around menstrual cycles, hormonal contraceptives, the menopause and much more! No question is a silly question; so come along to learn more about what goes on in your body!
