Explore Hidden Hampstead
Discover one of London’s best-kept secrets on this beautiful summer morning walk through Hampstead. We’ll explore the enchanting Hill Garden and Pergola — a hidden Edwardian walkway draped in wisteria and climbing plants, offering stunning views across London. It’s one of those magical spots that most Londoners don’t even know exists.
After our walk, those who’d like to continue the morning can join us for a relaxed pub lunch at The Wells Tavern, a charming Hampstead pub just a short stroll away.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll meet at 11am at Hampstead Underground Station (main exit). From there, we’ll walk together to the Hill Garden and Pergola — the walk takes about 15 minutes through lovely streets. We’ll spend around an hour exploring the gardens before heading to The Wells Tavern for those joining for lunch from around 1pm.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Everyone is expected to cover their own food and drinks at lunch.
