WHAT TO EXPECT
A guided walk along Holland Park Road and Melbury Road, exploring the unique studio-houses built by leading artists of the late Victorian period — including Val Prinsep, G F Watts, Luke Fildes, Marcus Stone, and Lord Leighton himself. You’ll discover why they chose this corner of Kensington, the connections between them, what made their homes so distinctive, and which leading architects they collaborated with.
The tour starts and ends outside Leighton House, 12 Holland Park Road, London W14 8LZ.
