Neema joined The Merit Club team in October 2023, helping to organise events, manage our community messaging, and now regularly hosting! When she’s not bringing her high energy to our events, she’s lifting weights at the gym, cooking, or finding any excuse to hit the dance floor. Fun fact: She often hosts right after a workout, so expect an extra boost of enthusiasm, energy, and pep!

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring cultural outing as we visit Tate Britain for the acclaimed Lee Miller Exhibition, followed by a delicious brunch at the beautifully chic Café Society on Millbank. This is the perfect blend of art, conversation, and good food – a lovely way to spend a winter weekend with fellow members.
The Lee Miller exhibition offers a fascinating look into the life and work of one of the 20th century’s most daring and influential photographers. From her surrealist collaborations to her powerful wartime images, the exhibition is rich with storytelling, creativity, and depth – ideal for sparking conversation and reflection.
Afterwards, we’ll stroll over to Café Society for a cosy, stylish brunch where we can unwind and chat about what inspired us.
We’ll meet outside the main entrance of Tate Britain, at the top of the front steps by the large pillars, at 11:00am – look out for the Merit Club tote bag so you can spot the group easily. This gives us time to gather before our 11:15am entry into the Lee Miller exhibition, where we’ll explore the rooms at a relaxed pace.
Once we’ve immersed ourselves in her world, we’ll take a short walk along Millbank to Café Society, where our brunch table is booked for 1:00pm (Café Society, 157–161 Millbank, London SW1P 4FD).
Everyone will pay for their own food and drinks.

We’ve secured a number of tickets for the exhibition, but if it sells out, you’re very welcome to purchase your own ticket directly through Tate Britain’s website. Just remember to RSVP below so we can reserve your spot for the brunch.
