There is something about a slow Sunday morning in a neighbourhood you do not know well. We are spending ours in Queen’s Park, one of North West London’s loveliest pockets, where the pace is gentle and the streets are made for wandering.
We will explore Lonsdale Road together, home to independent boutiques, wellness spaces, artisan bakeries, cosy cafes, restaurants, and colourful stalls filled with fresh flowers and local produce. Then we will stop at the much loved Don’t Tell Dad bakery for coffee and pastries before making our way into Queen’s Park itself.
Mornings like this are where friendships quietly begin. No agenda, no rush, just a walk, good coffee, and a proper chat on the grass surrounded by greenery.
We will meet at 10:30am outside Queen’s Park Tube Station and allow a few minutes for everyone to arrive before setting off along Lonsdale Road.
We will pick up coffee and pastries at Don’t Tell Dad, then settle in the park for a relaxed morning together. Everyone covers their own coffee and food.
What to bring: comfortable walking shoes and a blanket to sit on the grass.
Please note, your host will not be able to wait for latecomers, so do arrive on time.
