We’re delighted to welcome author Jo Browning Wroe for a special conversation about her moving and unforgettable novel, A Terrible Kindness. Set against the backdrop of the Aberfan disaster, the book explores themes of loss, resilience, and the healing power of compassion – making it a rich and thought-provoking choice for our Book Salon.
This gathering will be held at the elegant Home Grown and promises to be an afternoon of meaningful discussion, literary insight, and good company.
Our resident book club host, Denise, will guide the discussion, encouraging reflections and questions that bring the story to life in fresh and engaging ways. After the conversation, we’ll enjoy a relaxed 2-course lunch for £25 (all drinks are payable on consumption), offering the perfect opportunity to continue the dialogue, share perspectives, and connect with fellow members in a warm and welcoming setting.
Please note that our standard No Show Fee policy applies.
